The dewatering bag and frame combination allows for contaminated solids to be filtered out and contained in the package while liquid flows through the package walls and floor. It is then captured in the built in reservoir in the frame for processing. The frame supports the dewatering bag above a grated floor allowing for liquids to wick and drain from the package. Contaminated substances can be loaded or pumped into the system for dewatering. When the system is full, it will dewater as the liquid wicks from material.
Once the level of dewatering is achieved, simply secure the duffle closure and lift the bag from the frame using the attached lifting straps.Solids are contained in a disposable package that can then be packaged for disposal or placed into storage for further processing or treatment if needed. Standard sizes for the dewatering bag include but are not limited to:
- 2.5 Cubic Yard (60x42x42)
- 3.5 Cubic Yard (72x48x48)
